116 years ago The Metropolitan Museum of Art opened its doors in NYC. The MET is one of our favorite museums, especially every time they do their Costume Institute Gala! We love seeing the pretty dresses.

As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF) and Lee Jeans invite companies across the US to go casual for a cause. This Friday, October 2nd employees can wear their jeans to work in exchange for a $5 contribution to the fight against breast cancer.  We will be participating and we think you should too!

Since its first year, Lee National Denim Day has raised more than $75 million for the fight against breast cancer!

We wish we could be in Germany! Today officially kicks off the Oktoberfest Festival in Munich. It’s a sixteen day festival that happens every year. It’s the world's largest fair, with some six million people attending every year!!!

We just discovered this super cool airline for pets called Pet Airways!!  It’s the first airline dedicated to dogs, cats and other pets. No more cargo travel for us!  We get our own seat in the main cabin!

Our favorite show is finally back! Project Runway premieres on Lifetime tonight at 10pm. And don’t forget to check out Models of the Runway right after!

Happy National Golf Month!

I love to play golf and consider myself to be a pro at the sport. If they let dogs compete in the PGA, I could totally beat Tiger Woods and get my very own green jacket.

Sam is not as good and always gets caught in the sand trap! We try to stick with miniature golf.

We had a good chuckle today walking down memory lane today!  We arrived in LA about a year ago and on our first night out, we saw something moving around in the bushes.  Mookie went to check it out and it was a skunk!  She totally got sprayed and it didn’t matter how many times she bathed – she smelled for a month!!

We’re always careful when we see something lurking in the bushes now!  Hope you’re having a skunk free summer!

Emmy Nominations were announced today and Project Runway has 4 nominations!!!  It’s our favorite show!

Today is Teddy Bear Picnic Day. We decided to have a picnic get together with our favorite teddy bears.

We went to the park and had a nice lunch with some of our favorite foods! Cheerios, Peanut Butter, Carrots and much more. We had so much fun! Make sure to treat your teddy bears to a picnic today!!

What a great day to eat burgers and hot dogs. YUM!! We’re going to BBQ by the pool with family and friends. Our favorite part of the day is definitely the fireworks!! They are so pretty and colorful.

We really miss New York today!

Ahhhh Summer... There are a lot of great things about Summer...

There is nothing like the feeling of walking barefoot through cool, wet sand. It’s also a great time to eat lots of ice cream or lay a blanket on the green grass and have a picnic. We will be spending our summer doing all of the above and much more. We will keep you updated with all of our adventures.

I was reading the Daily News today and found this super cool article about a dog named Roscoe and an orangutan named Suryia who are best friends! They met at an animal sancturary in South California and have been inseperable ever since.

Just like Mookie and me they eat together, swim together, play together and even travel  together!

Their friendship is so special they are going to be on Oprah today talking about it! I wonder why we were not invited? Our invitation must have gotten lost in the mail!

Happy Cinco De Mayo!

We love any excuse to have a Mexican Fiesta! We will be celebrating in LA with some yummy tacos and guacamole – hold the cilantro! We were interested in knowing what other people do to celebrate today so we did a little research and found out that people all over the world have their own traditions. Vancouver has a Cinco de Mayo skydiving event, the Cayman Islands have a Cinco de Mayo air guitar competition and in the island of Malta, in the Mediterranean, people are encouraged to drink Mexican beer.

We heard that it has been raining a lot in NY lately. We wouldn’t know as we are still in sunny LA!  One of the things we miss the most about NY is Central Park. Its so beautiful this time of year.
